Trafigura has agreed a binding take-or-pay deal to buy 100,000 t of lithium products over 10 years from EnergyX: lithium carbonate from the Black Giant project in Chile and lithium hydroxide from the Lonestar project in Texas. Deliveries depend on production starting in 2028 (Chile) and 2029 (Texas).
